Congratulations James Posey!
Today is a proud day for the Posey family. James Mikely Mantell Posey, Jr. was named one of the Heat's top 25 players of ALL-TIME. Congratulations. And while I don't want to rain on the Posey parade but part of me wonders if the Heat really had to go to a 25 man list. The team has only been around for 20 years so why add the extra 5? Was it too hard for voters to determine between Keith Askins, Voshon Lenard, Grant Long, and Brian Grant? And even 20 was pushing it. Only 154 players have ever played for Miami so one out of every six players to don the Heat jersey made the 25 team. You just know that somewhere in Sarajevo, Sasha Danilovic is wondering what might have been.
Regardless, congratulations to James Posey and one of the best to ever play the game*.
