Danny needs to stop talking to the press
I've heard of double talk but this is almost triple talk.

"The same people that want to say that Doc, for whatever reason, was tanking games, which he wasn't doing, also want to hold that record on him," said [Boston GM Danny] Ainge shortly before the season ended. "So, he's either doing what's in the best interest for the long term of the Celtics or he's not a good enough coach to win games. But it can't be both. Doc is a team player. He does what's best for the franchise."So Doc wasn't tanking, but people who think he was shouldn't hold the team's record against him because he's a team player and was doing what the team needed. Okay Danny. Sure thing. I really wish Celtics employees would simply stop talking about tanking, at least until after the lottery. Nothing good can come out of this.

Truth is, Doc tanked, and his reward, is a year to play with a team that has a 33+% chance of getting a top 2 pick. From the start of the Ainge era I have been disgusted by Danny's inability to be a man. He makes moves like a little scaired boy. Here it is again. Jesus.
As much as Danny has screwed the pooch during his time here I will give him one thing..He had the ability to see that tanking this year was the one and only way he could turn this thing around.
If we get a top two pick and can create this...
Oden/Durant
Big Al
Pierce.
We will be set for a long long time.
If we dont get a top 2 pick. Count the days until fire/resignation for both Doc and Danny.
Never has a draft lotto meant more.

I don't give Danny any credit for tanking. The Celtics were terrible. If Pierce hadn't gone down, we would be a mid-to-late lotto team with no playoffs and little shot at Oden and Durant. Personally, I don't think Doc needed to tank this year. This team was terrible on its own and injuries turned it into an AAU team.
