The Change-Up

I'm really torn on the trailer for "The Change-Up". The premise has been done to death (switching bodies) and this one doesn't really seem to add much of anything new to the game. Most of the humor is potty humor and in some cases, it is literally potty humor. But still, I like the cast and some of the moments look like it could be a pretty good albeit stupid comedy. Maybe a bit like the old Farrelly Brothers movies.

On a side note, has anyone ever done a body change movie with a black and a white guy? I'm sure it's happened but I can't think of one. Or one with a white guy and a black woman could be good. I think those would be better because the changes are more drastic and there are more situations you can mock. The idea of a married guy and a gigolo swapping bodies just seems like it shouldn't be THAT big of a difference. While I like who was cast, having Bateman get married to Leslie Mann (and work with Olivia Wilde) and then be STUNNED when good looking girls are going after him doesn't make him turning into Reynolds's character seem like such a strength. When one of the big differences is pubic hair, it seems like they are really stretching to find things to get humor from in the two different worlds.
