OK, well, I tried the options thing and the ones I bought didn't do that well and the ones I passed on or bought and sold quickly did very well. If I had just bought stocks, I'd be sitting pretty with a number of my choices making big gains (like AKAM and AIG, which have both basically doubled since I last invested.) So this time around, I'm just going to buy stocks and hold them for the long haul. I'm kicking myself for not putting money in the market after the crash because so many of the stocks that you knew were going to rebound could have been had for cheaper. I kind of don't want to invest right now since the market made big gains yesterday but, as the saying goes, patience is a virtue that I can't wait for so I'm diving in.

Two of the three stocks I'm going to go with this time around are Human Genome Sciences Inc. (HGSI) and 8 x 8 Inc (EGHT). I went off of the Motley Fool website for those and then listened to When Genius Prevailed's Money McBags on one of his last posts before shutting down his site and put some money into KIT Digital (KITD). I'm sure now that I invested, the stock market will go down for the next couple of days but I'm in the for the long haul this time and it will be interesting to see how this all pans out.
Well, interesting to me, at least.
