If you were wondering why you hadn't seen Ryan Gosling in a movie lately, word is that he decided to focus on his band, Dead Man's Bones. The music is OK. The description on Lala.com was Arcade Fire meets Tim Burton and had 20 kids. It's a fitting summary of the band (although tI wouldn't say that they are quite as good as Arcade Fire). Still, they are much better than a lot of thespian musical interludes and I would be interesting to hear another album from them. Best of all, it's very fitting for Halloween.
